An exciting thing happened this month!
My husband Chris' grandparents
Helen and Estevan Candelaria
were elected as Pioneers of the Year/grand marshals
at the Aztec New Mexico's 121st Birthday parade!
They were the head of the vintage car parade!
After the parade, they were presented with a plaque of achievement.
Helen's friend also received one for her achievements.
